Explanation (?):

The VMWare Authorization Service provides the ability for virtual machines to properly interact with the host computer. Without this service the virtual session may lack the required privileges to properly communicate with the host operating system and the host computer's hardware.

This service should be left as automatic if you are using VMWare. If you do not have VMWare installed then this service should not exist.
