Explanation (?):

The error reporting service is used to transfer information to Microsoft about abnormal application terminations. When an error occurs you will be asked if you wish to transfer the data pertaining to the crash to Microsoft. This is generally a good idea as it will allow Microsoft to realize the frequency of crashed with applications and the data you provide may even tell them why it happened. This allows them to fix the problem in a patch. However, this service can be quite annoying and could be considered a security leak on some private networks as the extent of the information transmitted could vary. This service can safely be set to disabled if you do not wish to participate in bug tracking / fixing.

"Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out... and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel.... And in the intervals between campaigns he washes the blood off his hands and works for 'the universal brotherhood of man' - with his mouth". --Mark Twain
