Explanation (?):
The SAP Agent service is used by a Windows server that has client services for Netware installed. The service advertising protocol (SAP) is used by all Netware servers to notify other servers of their provided features through a broadcast every 60 seconds. This allows the servers to maintain a table of the names and addresses of all available services according to a particular type. When a client needs a service then a server can notify the client of the closest service of the type needed. If this service is not running then client services for netware will not function as intended. If you wish to disable this service then you should remove client services for netware from add / remove components.
