The NVIDIA Driver Helper Service service is used in configuring the nVidia drivers when they are first installed. After that this service provides the ability to override OpenGL refresh rates through the nVidia control panel in the display properties. I would recommend setting this service to disabled unless you play OpenGL games and have a need to alter the refresh rates, otherwise this service isn't providing anything and it will just get in the way. When new drivers are installed this service will be set back to automatic.
